This initiative is an important step in the route towards the worldwide use and availability of alternative proteins. Though fermentation is one of the oldest practices in human history, and we already eat 350 different fungi worldwide, the need for fermented fungi becoming mainstream is crucial. The Protein Brewery is determined to contribute to feeding future generations sustainably, solving malnutrition and securing food supply chains.
