The production of Fermotein™ is scalable and reproducible as a result of a simple expansion of fermentation cisterns in combination with maximum process tuning, allowing constant quality. All needed raw materials are low-cost.

The production of Fermotein™ is non-seasonal as a result of sourcing of raw materials that are available all year round or have a long shelf life.
Because of a flexible production elimination of waste, The Protein Brewery provides a ‘As Much As Needed’ (AMAN) production approach. Moreover, the sourcing of highly available, reliable and low-cost raw materials prevent shortages and soaring prices.

With limited use of land compared to producing beef (1%) and pork (3%), usage of 100% renewable energy, The Protein Brewery actively reduces environmental impact. With a near zero-waste process, waste management is limited.
