How does your profile look like?

We are a good match if you...

  • Have 10+ years of experience and a track-record in (industrial) Food ingredient R&D and Food processing R&D in the fields TPB is active in. These fields include for example meat hybrids, meat successors/analogues, bakery, bread, chocolates, pasta, protein bars, protein shakes.

  • Have a (preferentially) university degree in Food Science, Food Processing or closely related field.

  • Are passionate about innovation, food, health, and sustainability.

  • Have strong project management skills.

  • Have a hands on and entrepreneurial mentality, with a pro-active and independent way of working.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Food Technologist with both scientific and industrial experience in developing high-performance novel food ingredients. You have a track record in processing food ingredients and in scaling up food production processes. You have a strong network in the food ingredient processing industry. You will work closely with the other colleagues in the brewing research group, various external partners, and the marketing & sales group within TPB.

What are you going to do?

  • Develop food ingredients and food ingredient production concepts.

  • Design and execute food processing R&D from laboratory scale to successful demonstration at pilot scale and to commercial production.

  • Identify academic and/or industrial partners that will expedite the company’s food ingredient and food processing technology driven research towards disruptive world-class performance.

  • Conduct a wide range of analytical tests, set up quality control, and integrate this in our ISO22000:2018 system.

  • Represent TPB on technical and scientific conferences and seminars on food process technology.

  • Keep up to date with the newest trends in food processing technologies.
