A New Chapter for The Protein Brewery: Welcoming a New CEO
After transformative leadership during Series A, CEO Sue Garfitt will step down from her executive role and pass the baton to Thijs Bosch, who will lead The Protein Brewery into its next phase of growth.

Thijs joins The Protein Brewery from Cosun, where he led the development and scaling of their innovative plant protein business. Previously, he held senior roles at dairy ingredients company Fonterra, most recently as Managing Director Europe.

Sue has led the company through its foundational scale-up stage — shaping the strategic direction, building a team of experienced professionals. The Protein Brewery sold its first product in the United States, achieved regulatory approval for Fermotein® in Singapore, and built and commissioned the Mijkenbroek facility.
